The Beaches of Povljana

Povljana sits on the northern tip of Pag Island, wrapped by some of the clearest water on the eastern Adriatic coast. The beaches here are a mix of sandy flats, pebble coves, and rocky platforms — each a short walk or drive from Villa Maslina.
Mali Dubrovnik Beach
The closest beach to the villa is Mali Dubrovnik, a sandy and pebble stretch about 300 metres on foot. It's calm, shallow at the entry, and shaded by pine trees along the edge — well suited for families with young children. In summer the water temperature sits between 24–27 °C.
Morning hours (before 10:00) are quietest. Sunbeds and a small beach bar operate from late June through early September.
Plaža Povljana (Town Beach)
The main town beach runs along the waterfront just below the village centre. It's pebble with a gradual drop into clean, clear water. The promenade alongside it makes for easy evening walks. Several konoba restaurants are within a five-minute stroll.
Coves on the Northern Shore
A ten-minute drive north from Povljana opens up a string of smaller coves accessible via dirt tracks. These are unsignposted and quieter — bring water and shade. The water is exceptionally clear. Snorkelling equipment from the villa is useful here.
